1. Use keywords

Make sure you use keywords in your title tags and meta descriptions. These are two of the first things people see when they visit your page. Make sure these are relevant to what you’re selling. If you’re selling a product, then make sure you put “product name” in your title tag. If you’ve got a service, then maybe “service name” would work.

2. Optimize images

3. Create quality content

People aren’t going to stick around if they feel your site isn’t worth their time. So make sure your content is high-quality. Write compelling headlines that grab attention. Add great pictures and videos. And always link back to where you got the information.

4. Don’t overdo it

You might think that adding lots of links to your site is the best way to rank higher, but it may not be the best approach. Overdoing it could actually hurt you. Google wants to give websites that have useful content a boost. Adding tons of useless links won’t help. Focus on providing value and quality rather than quantity.

5. Get social
